The Focus on the Masters Archive & Library has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on November 27, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to kick off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support. FOTM’s goal is to raise $5,000 through social media as part of our year-end efforts. Donations made on Tuesday, November 27 are eligible for a MATCHING GIFT by Facebook and PayPal up to 7 million dollars.  Please click the donation button on Facebook to participate. Sponsor an Artist Portrait  help to insure that your favorite documented artist has their formal portrait taken for the archive.  Your donation insures that their image, in addition to their formal documentation, oral histories, and significant records are preserved, saved and shared.  It costs $1,000 for an Artist Portrait, but any amount is appreciated.
