Come to this celebration of vibrant expression, and see how the rich creativity of artists of the Ojai Valley nurtures and inspires our youth, connecting them to community, nature and the world in which they live.  This exhibit features artwork created with Learning To See Outreach in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades at Meiners Oaks Elementary.  This unique 8-week program and exhibition was made possible by a grant from the City of Ojai.

Focus on the Masters is an art appreciation program that documents, preserves and presents the works and lives of accomplished contemporary artists. FOTM’s award-winning in-school art program, Learning To See Outreach, inspires our youth using the lives and works of our extraordinary FOTM documented artists from our community. The lessons begin with a PowerPoint presentation about the life and work of these artists, including a round table discussion. Students then apply themselves to their own art projects and gain respect for themselves and others. Art anchors them to a greater caring for their community and to a celebration of cultural diversity.
