This year’s For the Love of Art: Soaring to New Heights will honor longtime Focus on the Masters (FOTM) patrons John and Cherie Brant.  Cherie began volunteering for FOTM in 2003 serving as the FOTM Board Secretary.  Her volunteer efforts continued for over fifteen years devoting her time and talent to special events, editing, and Board responsibilities.  Always willing to pitch in and give of their time and resources, John and Cherie’s commitment to our community are innumerable and include the Boys & Girls Club of Ventura, the Museum of Ventura County and Rotary to name a few. FOTM is privileged to count them amongst our most valued patrons.
The evening will begin with a Preview Event reception from 6 to 7 p.m. where guests will mix and mingle with fellow art lovers and sponsors while enjoy appetizers and libations. Reception attendees will get a sneak peek at the silent auction items before the Gala begins. Gala attendees will be treated to wonderful music, food and libations and be able to participate in a live and silent auction, interactive art projects and artist trivia. Funds raised at this event will allow us to continue our arts education programs throughout the county.
For the Love of Art is FOTM’s largest FUNdraising event of the year. Tickets for the Preview event reception are $25 for FOTM members, $35 non-members.  Gala Tickets are $100 for FOTM Members, $125 non-members.  Tickets available HERE or by calling 805.653.2501.

All proceeds fund FOTM’s education programing including the Learning to See in-school residencies.
About Focus on the Masters:  Founded in 1994, Focus on the Masters, is one of Ventura's premier arts organizations.  Its mission is to document and present to a large public the lives and works of leading contemporary artists, many of whom live and work in Ventura County.  An 8-week education program based on the work of these artists is offered to Ventura County schools and, in conjunction with Turning Point Foundation, to adults with mental illness.
